I’ve lived a life of movement, born on a houseboat in the Netherlands, spending years at sea, working hard, building businesses, and never letting curiosity fade. This site shares my photo stories and the memoir that grew out of them: a real journey through love, music, work, travel, and the lessons I learned along the way.
I Turn My Experience Into a Story
The happiest part of my childhood was growing up around water and open space, I couldn’t swim until I was 12, but the sea still shaped like who I became. Later, I sailed across the world, worked in the Navy briefly, and built a long career managing seven salons for over sixty years. Alongside business, music has always been a vibrant part of my life, singing, songwriting, and performing on the club circuit with Ellis J. Daulton.

To cultivate genuine love and thriving business ventures, dedicating my lifelong energy to nurturing both, never retiring, always striving to create lasting success and fulfillment for us.
My Goal
I have developed five key projects—three innovative haircare products and two franchise ventures—with 60 years of industry experience, aiming for their ultimate success. My aspiration is to leave a legacy that is celebrated beyond my lifetime, remembered as a legend in my field.

The inspiration for this undertaking stems from my dear friend Kathy Golski, the author of the poignant book “My Two Husbands,” which chronicles her profound affection for both. “Encouraged by Kathy, I promised to begin my literary journey, titled ‘My Five Wives’ to attract readers and explore what marriage is about.”
